Customer and partner training

Redline partners are required to undergo formal training and certification.

These cover all aspects of installation and support including:

  • site survey
  • installation
  • fiber termination
  • fault finding
  • network management.

Training is hands-on and practical. Candidates spend a significant amount of time on test-links. The instructor based training is available in the following formats:

  • Regular in-house training courses at Redline on a fee-per-student basis. See our News page for the dates of future courses. Book your place on our next course by completing the Training Request form.
  • Redline offers on-site training for customers provided they are able to provide a suitable venue and equipment. Obtain more details by filling in the Training Request form or by contacting us directly to discuss details and pricing options.



Site Surveys and system design

Prior to the installation of a point-to-point link or a multilink network, Redline engineers perform a Site Survey and system design ensuring that the relevant technology is selected for the required installation.

The system design is influenced by the following factors:

  • Distances
  • Line-of sight
  • Environmental conditions and weather patterns in the area
  • Requested bandwidth
  • Requested availability
  • Types of services to be supplied over links
  • Cost effectiveness



Installation and commissioning

In addition to a network of certified installers, Redline has its own installation team who can assist our resellers to perform installations for new point-point connections or the re-deployment and alignment of existing link installations. Support and maintenance
We assist our resellers in the provision of a managed preventative maintenance and support program, which includes the monitoring of links, checking alignment for optimum performance and responding to fault reports. We can also assist our resellers with emergency call out services for customers who have not yet purchased a support and maintenance contract. This will be quoted and contracted on a case by case basis.


Repairs and spares

With significant experience and expertise in link design and production, Redline is in the position to offer repairs of links and/or the replacement of certain link modules.  This significantly reduces the time it will take you to re-establish a link connection in case of equipment failures.  Both in and out-of-warranty repairs are offered through the Redline repairs facility.
